USA Using TOO Much

We Americans are using way to much of everything. We use too much water, food, clothing, natural resources, just everything we can. We are also so demanding of objects and materials and if we don't have it we must get it any way possible. Us Americans are too greedy, hence why we have come into this recession. When these other worlds like Africa and the Middle East are suffering because of these bad situations when we are over here in American using it all up until we don't need it. We are becoming a very obese country when people in Africa, China, Middle East, and India are dying from hunger. We use water like there is no tomorrow and we buy these expensive brands of water because we don't like tap water when people in other countries are dying from dehidration and they would kill for our tap water just so they stay alive. If you people hear about the problems and not do anything than don't feel bad and close this out, DO SOMETHING TO HELP! Don't think your doing your part by reading this and then once you feel bad you close out this and go back to your life style. 100,000 people dye everything by bad conditions in which us humans can help. Do something american and stop wasting everything because you don't have to worry. You do because think of it as if it was you. What if you were dying from hunger and dehidration and people in England or France were jsut eating their hearts out and becoming obese and drinking a bottle of water that costs $10.00 how would you feel. Come on America, be the land of the free and help the other countries like they helped us.

I'm not even sure what to say to this.. to me it doesn't concern me. Maybe I'm selfish but still going to continues to do the things i do. And water doesn't cost 10.00 a bottle. I think this is all exaggerated.

You make it sound like all Americans are greedy, fat, rich slobs, who all they care about is themselves. I find that quite annoying, really. I can't help it that I live it the richest country in the world. I don't take everything for granted, either. I am actually quite thankful. I am definitely not this selfish, rich American you make all of us out to be, heck, I'm so "rich" I can't even afford to buy lunch everyday XP Also, the US does help other countries who are not as fortunate as us.

(P.S. i doubt you're gunna post this XDD)

Okay most of the people reading this think im trying to dis the American Country when that is not what im trying to do. I'm just saying don't use the things just to the minimum. Yes this doesn't apply to everyone but most or some of the country it does. If you have a problem thats your opinion. If you want to take accounted what is going on in this world then help. But its your world and your choice

wow $10.00 a bottle that crazy. Water is not worth that much, I would rather drink tap than something that costs that much. But i am not going to change my life style.

Hey - you got some people thinking. Kudos for that. I rarely agree with any idea fully. Personally, I think people who do have failed to consider different perspectives. However, generally speaking, I agree with the notion that there is waste and excess in our country and a lot of the world. So many people would rather work their butts off to make a buck rather than think for a second on how to save one.

idk if i agree. i don't think you can say people buy expensive bottled water because they don't like tap. i buy bottled water so that i can take it to school and work. plus it's not that expensive, last time i bought water it was like $5 for a 32 pack..thats not a lot. if ppl didn't buy bottled water that would be one less thing that would be sold in stores and one less thing people are spending money on to stimulate the economy. plus water comes from springs and it has for years so it's not like it's going to dry up and run our right away. i do kind of agree with the part that america is an obese country, but i eat a lot of food and my parents work hard so that they can buy me food :) so even tho i feel bad for starving ppl in other countries, maybe it's there own fault.

Okay everyone hello again. but its not the fact that i think its bad that people life their life like eating a lot or buying bottled water and yea i kinda exaggerate on the price but its the thought that people buy water like its nothing. you can live your life how ever you want. I'm not saying its the wrong way to live. all I'm trying to get across is that you should try and help the starving or the thirsty or the nude or the homeless. do the little things to make someones day. don't get mad at me because i put this post sounding like its the wrong way to live because its not. I'm just trying to encourage you to help the unfortunate because it might not be totally their fault they are like that. So don't get mad at the post just think of what I'm trying to get at which is to get you to help others even if they don't need it.

America gets in other peoples buisness all te time. Like the war in the Middle East is a great example. Also we give lots of aid, and are willing to give more, but some governments won't allow it. Yes Americans have more than other countries, but we still have our impoverished, who have tried hard to get a job and better themselves, but because of circumstance they could not get out of poverty. I worked at a homless shelter and soup kitchens which were packed with people and we had to turn some away because we did not have enough. It hurts me when you use such generalizations about Americans.
